Introduction
Pulchowk Campus Library was established along with the establishment of the campus. It has more than 60 thousand of collection including text books, reference books, journals, magazines, theses, reports, CDs etc. This library has been providing both current awareness service and selective dissemination information service to its users. The Library has a rich collection of books on engineering including civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and computer engineering, applied sciences and chemical engineering, mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, architecture engineering. Besides this, library also has a collection in the areas of social sciences, management and literature.
The campus library follows open access system for the circulation of books with the help of library automation software. The separate sections are arranged for books under text books (Lending section), reference category, not for issue section, thesis and report section for easy access to the users. A bar code based circulation system is in use.
The main objective of the Library is to support all the research and educational activities of the campus. It involves content development, acquisition, technical services, providing Institutional repositories etc. Our motto is to provide polite, friendly and efficient services without any discrimination among the users.
