Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People.
About the Collaboration
Samsung Innovation Campus is Samsung’s flagship global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, established to prepare young people for the Fourth Industrial Revolution through hands-on training in high demand technology skills. The program was brought to Nepal in December 2022, when Samsung partnered with Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering to launch SIC at Pulchowk Campus, the first of its kind in the country.
Since its inauguration, SIC has run successive batches of students through its curriculum, combining technical training with soft skills development to improve graduates’ employability and problem solving ability. Participants who complete the program go on to apply what they’ve learned to projects of social significance, using their new skills to address real community problems.
Courses Offered
Coding and Programming
The foundational course in the SIC curriculum, building learners’ command of programming logic, data structures, and algorithms which are the prerequisite skill set for every course that follows.
Advanced Data Science
Covers applied data science techniques and practical, project-based work using real datasets, extending students’ programming foundation into analysis and model-building.
Big Data Analytics
Focuses on handling, processing, and drawing insight from large scale datasets, a core skill for the AI and data-driven projects students take on in their capstone work.
Admission to SIC courses requires a working foundation in algorithms, data structures, and programming.
What Students Gain
